Dennis Rivera
Managing Member & Founder
Dennis Rivera brings his 30 years of commodity futures trading, execution, research, and operational experience to Advanced Alpha Advisers. He is responsible for the overall business which includes manager research, due diligence and analysis, and selection for our portfolio and investor recommendations.
Previous roles include Director of Institutional Managed Futures at Managed Capital Advisory Group, AP at Dow Corporation energy brokerage, AP at Park Avenue Asset Management, Director-LiquidityPort, Floor Operations at Putter Trading Corp and Principal owner of Lean6Financial and DP Rivera and Co. Inc. a former Clearing Member of NYCE. Dennis was a floor broker, market maker, and Member of the New York Cotton Exchange(NYCE), ICE Futures US, and NYMEX. Dennis has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of New York Petroleum Associates and several futures committees on both ICE Futures US ( formerly NYBOT) and NYMEX. Dennis is a Graduate of Iona College, BBA Marketing, Series 3, NFA Member ID 0008701.
Fabrice Tischhauser, CFA
Swiss Branch Office Manager
Fabrice Tischhauser, CFA serves as Advanced Alpha Adviser’s Baar, Switzerland Branch Office Manager.
He has earned a double bachelor’s degree in Economics awarded by FH Münster and the Kedge Business School, followed by a master’s degree in Finance from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce. Fabrice is currently the CEO of Quant Infinity Solutions AG, a Swiss Fintech company, and supervises the development of proprietary automated quantitative trading systems therein. He is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder and has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, holding senior positions at Allianz AG, Deutsche Bank, and Coutts. Series 3, NFA Member ID #0550260

James Montlake is Head of Distribution for Advanced Alpha Advisers ART systematic futures strategy and is responsible for developing distribution channels and matching investors with the ART Separately Managed Account (SMA) systematic, managed future strategy.
James was previously a Senior Business Development Analyst at ICE (Intercontinental Exchange) focusing on the development of futures markets in Gold and Silver, aggregated OTC markets in interest rate swaps, and the evolution of ICE LIBOR. James left ICE to set up TeaSwap Ltd and became a swap broker in physical tea markets with government support from the UK’s Department for International Development. James has a BSc in Economics and an MA in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham, plus level 1 CFA and a CISI Certificate in Financial Regulation. Series 3, NFA Member ID #0550259.
Marla J Rivera
Corporate Secretary- Office Administrator
At Advanced Alpha Advisers, we are proud to have Marla as our Corporate Secretary Office Administrator. Her initiative and resourcefulness have been instrumental in helping us meet our business objectives. Marla’s responsibilities include implementing procedures, maintaining administrative systems, and managing our office operations.
With her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, Marla ensures that our day-to-day operations run smoothly. She is always ready to assist our team members and clients with a friendly and professional attitude.

Eric R. Golberg
Eric has over 28 years of experience at the intersection of global capital markets, alternative investments, and Asia-Pacific Japan. He was most recently Director and Portfolio Manager of the Hedge Fund Team at Nippon Life, leading the manager sourcing, due diligence, selection, portfolio construction, and rebuilding the investment and risk management process. He was a founding member of Minerva Alternative Strategies Inc. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation). Prior to joining Mitsubishi, Eric worked at Chemical/Chase/JP Morgan, where he initially spent two years in the Tokyo FIG, then eight years in New York City covering hedge funds, CTA’s, fund of funds, and private equity firms.
Eric holds a BA in English from Luther College, was a Mombusho English Fellow in Japan, and earned an MA from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, specializing in the political economy of Japan and East Asia.
Ulf Nofelt – CEO, UN Consulting
Ulf has spent more than 30 years in the financial service industry. He started his career focused on the areas of international banking and credit analysis. Ulf’s experience with hedge funds began in 1998 when he joined Paribas and assisted in the creation of a new fund of funds, structured for North America. UN Consulting works with mostly European institutional investors and large family offices on investing with North American companies. Ulf has spoken at several industry conferences on asset allocation and alternative investments. Ulf has registered with two investment management companies with the SEC, and has been the Chief Compliance Officer for a fund of funds.
Besides consulting Ulf also works part-time with managers, on business development and establishing strategies for growing assets from the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
He holds a BA from California State University and an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) he also attended schools and universities in Sweden, Canada, and Germany and has lived in seven countries. Ulf is also a graduate of the AIMSE Investment Institute at Wharton.
David Rondeau
Managing Director – Force Family Office
David is an Advanced Alpha Advisers Advisory Board member and a Managing Director at the Force Family Office in New York City. Prior to joining the Force Family Office, David was also a Managing Director at AI Capital Advisors in Greenwich and New York and worked within the founding family office to develop an overall financial strategy, manage their investments, and execute their wealth management plans.
David’s focus is on identifying non-correlative assets across the globe and helping to define and translate their values into a comprehensive, sophisticated investment program.
Prior to joining AI Capital, David served as Executive Vice President of Privos Capital. In this worldwide multifamily office group, he developed and grew the firm’s U.S. high-net-worth business and developed sophisticated investment strategies for their families.
David is a Berkshire School graduate and a member of the Board of Trustees and Lake Forest College with a dual major in European History and Political Science.
